ENGINEERS WITHOUT BORDERS is a student-led organisation whose members use their skills to help engineering projects in developing countries. They also visit schools to spread the message about what they do. A team of eight, all students at Strathclyde University, came to King's Park to run workshops for S2 science classes. The team included former pupil Margarita Papadaki. The theme of the workshop was 'Water for the World' and pupils had to work in teams to build a water purification system. There were prizes for the teams who produced the cleanest water.
