“On Wednesday 12^th November My Higher German Class went to Holyrood Secondary School to take part in a Modern Languages Event. We had to sell Glasgow to a foreign audience. We worked in language teams with pupils from other Glasgow Secondary Schools. We had to come up with a poster, radio advert, powerpoint presentation and translate an article – all in German! We were joined by pupils from the Higher French class too (There were 15 of us altogether) and on the day French, German, Italian, Urdu and Spanish languages were all represented. It was a great day out but hard work! I feel I have learned a lot from this event and I was really happy to be given the chance to present our group’s work to the invited audience of pupils and business people.”
