MORE FANTASTIC FUNDRAISERS - £1,020 RAISED!

Thank you SO MUCH to all the pupils and parents who helped with bag-packing at Asda on Christmas Eve.  Four adults and 27 pupils raised £1,020 - a great achievement.

Our Reporters write:

We had a great time today. There were pupils and some ex-pupils working in store - so they all said hello. Loads of parents recognised us, and came over to say hello. The pupils were exceptional, and received many, many compliments. Some were given presents of sweets. Many folk were astonished that the pupils were out - on Christmas Eve! - a school holiday! - in full school uniform! - and having fun bagpacking!  It was quite a family atmoshere.

The comments we received from the public were great, for example teachers from other primaries and secondaries could not believe we had pupils turning up on the first day of the holidays to support their school. They commented on how smart and well mannered they were. We spoke to grandmothers, parents, ex pupils and staff who were all very positive.

Lewis's Granda was there - wearing a Santa hat, he watched the bags and coats - but also he held a donations bucket and wished everyone passing a Happy Christmas from King's Park Secondary - people were dropping money in there too!

Amy with guitar, and Zaib stood at the front door for a good while singing songs - it was freezing but they did really well.

Altogether we had 4 adults, and 27 pupils in full school uniform - and our total is £1020.
