A MESSAGE FROM STRATHCLYDE POLICE
The police have asked all schools to give this message to parents and pupils. Across Strathclyde, there has been a rise in the number of fights in residential areas, which have been arranged on the internet, eg Facebook. Strathclyde police are working right across the police force to eliminate this antisocial behaviour, and are asking all schools to bring the matter to the attention of parents. They also ask us to clarify the situation for any person who is witnessing a fight – simply being there makes the person part of a mobbing and rioting incident. We are happy to support the police and residents in passing on this message.
