KING'S PARK GIRLS ROW TO VICTORY

Paula Semple, Caitlin Forsyth and Anina Khamisha all competed at the Scottish Rowing Championships at Strathclyde Park on Saturday and Sunday, 12th-13th June.
On Saturday, Paula coxed Caitlin and Anina and 6 other young rowers to victory in the women’s junior 18 coxed 8 event, making them all Scottish champions. Another Scottish championship victory was to be had on Sunday when Anina rowed with another young Glasgow school pupil in the women’s junior 16 double event and again secured 1st place.
The girls are now preparing for the National Rowing Championships of Great Britain which are being held in mid July.
