INTER-HOUSE DEBATE
Congratulations to Lewis house who won this year's Inter-House Debate.

Andrew Eadie and Andrew Cunningham of 6L were arguing in support of the motion 'This House Believes Greed Is Good'.

The other teams involved were

John McCutcheon and Alexander Heeps for Arran,

Euan McIntyre and Ross McNally for Skye.

The competition was judged James Dornan MSP, Cllr Margot Clark and Donald Pirie, Actor and Drama Teacher.

All of the judges gave great comments to the teams and said they were impressed with the standard.

James Dornan commented, "The quality was tremendous and all the participants were a credit to the school."

We would like to thank our judges for their time and all of the S6 pupils involved for their efforts. A special thank you to Glen Melville of S3 and Scott Melville for standing in at the very last minute in order to help the event go ahead.

Lastly we must say thank you to the teachers who took part in the first debate discussing the motion, ‘This House Believes Kids Aren't What They Used To Be'.

Despite excellent performances by Mr Haddow and Mr Gladman, Mrs Pryde and Mr Grimes were victorious.
