Here is Lauren's Report:

Determined to Make Movies

From October to December we worked very hard to make a movie, “Elvis has left the Historical Building”, a movie about Holmwood House. We entered a competition, “Determined to Make Movies” and were invited to an awards ceremony at the G.F.T.

Schools from all over Glasgow, from Croftfoot to Maryhill attended the event.

First of all we watched a two minute clip of everybody’s movies. The clips left us all hungry for more.

We did exceptionally well and won a total of 5 awards:
·        A finalist award.
·        Highly commended drama
·        Erin Peffers highly commended actress.
·        Steven Marshall highly commended actor.
·        Lucy Wood Best DVD cover.

It was a good night enjoyed by all.
