PRIZEGIVING CEREMONIES 2012
Our annual Award Ceremonies took place on 14 June. Congratulations to all the award winners - academic, commitment, sporting, citizenship and other achievements. Thank you to the musicians who helped to make the ceremonies such an enjoyable occasion, and to Mr George McGinn from the Financial Education Partnership who was our Principal Guest for the senior ceremony.
Well done to Peter, Holly, Jennifer and Josh, who led the junior ceremony. And thank you to Mr Simon Bates, Chair of the Parent Council, who presented the awards at the junior ceremony, and chaired the senior ceremony. Thank you to all the other staff, pupils and parents who assisted in any way.
A huge THANK YOU must go to the Parent Council Fundraising Group, led by Mrs Jane Hunter (parent) and Ms MacRae (staff) for holding the Plant Sale and raising £1,000 to support the cost of prizegiving. And especially an enormous THANK YOU to Ms MacRae for her impeccable organisation of the prizegiving ceremonies.
