GLASGOW SCHOOLS STRING ORCHESTRA - WINNERS!
Congratulations to King's Park pupils who are members of the Glasgow Schools String Orchestra - winners of the 'Open' class for orchestras at the Glasgow Music Festival, against an orchestra from East Renfrewshire. The adjudicator was full of praise for both orchestras, and gave some very constructive feedback as to how each could improve. He decided to award the East Renfrewshire ensemble 87 points, and The Glasgow Schools String Orchestra 88 points. Our pupils were delighted with their performance and the result.
The next performances of the orchestra take place on Monday 22nd March and Tuesday 23rd March, in the City Halls.
