Congratulations to our Senior Vocal Group who performed at a ceremony in Cathcart Old Church on 11 September 2011, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

The group gave a beautiful rendition of 'Our Song of Peace' by Laura Farnell during a moving service of remembrance and thanksgiving. Thank you to the pupils, and to Miss Horning, PT Music.
Led by Rev Neil Galbraith, the ceremony included Scottish political, religious and community leaders, who participated in the service. It also headlined the Scottish television news programmes.
Rev Galbraith is also chief executive of the charity Glasgow The Caring City, and school chaplain to King's Park Secondary School.
Mrs Margaret Barr, head teacher, and Mr Simon Bates, chair of the Parent Council, represented the school community of King's Park Secondary.
