We are delighted to be offering a number of sessions called 'Digibytes for Parents' which are aimed to support our parents/carers to help their child develop their digital skills and use their iPad to enhance their learning experience in school and at home. These sessions are also aimed at supporting parents/carers to keep their child(ren) safe online and help parents/carers to become more aware of the common apps used by our pupils and staff so that they can support their child's learning at home using digital technology. The sessions on offer are outlined in our Community Calendar.
Our first Digibytes for Parents is on 'Getting Ready for iPads' and this session aims to introduce our parents/carers to our Digital Learning Strategy, outline the iPad deployment process and the expectations for our young people, parents/carers and school and hopefully develop our partnership to support our young people (and us too) to develop their digital skills.
